In June of 2025 my home AC required repairs. Going into summertime in the south I knew it had to be fixed but the cost of the expected repair quoted to me was significant. The work had to be done, and I felt grateful that I had been blessed to the point that I could afford to fix it, but it was going to be a significant outlay. I authorized the work, when the work was finished the company told me that some of what they had originally thought would have to replace was just fine and was reused, which lowered the cost to less than half.
